I believe that many of us when heard the word of University the
first thing that come across to our mind is “a place to study/ to get
knowledge”, but did you know that University of Malaysia Sabah (UMS)
is actually a tourist site.
Basically, UMS is offering an intangible actions service as an institute in
which UMS offering education, but because of its environment UMS now can be
visited by tourist who love nature.
Here is a list of places that you can actually visit in UMS:

UMS PEAK
In UMS you also can go hiking in UMS Peak. UMS Peak approximately 1.2 KM from the starting point to the peak and 190m from the sea level.
PASAR TANI
Every Thursday there will be a
Pasar Tani in evening located next to Dewan Canselor of UMS.
Other than these four place I mentioned above, there are still a
lot of places that you can actually visit in UMS. If you want to come to UMS
you can go to the EcoCampus Visitor Information Centre (EVIC)
located at the Science and Natural Resources Faculty for more information.
If you are tired from your long walks in UMS, Marina Cafe is there for you. Located next to the Aquarium and Marine Museum. From the Marina Cafe you can see the view of ocean.
